Van Dorn Auto Repair

Our 1st time using VanDorn Auto and they did great. We dropped off late on Fri. and picked up at 4 on Mon. They ordered and replaced both shocks, both struts, and did a realignment. Stayed in touch by phone & text. No muss, no fuss, and $400 less than the dealer.

I brought my 2017 Ford Transit Connect XLT to Van Dorn Auto Repair and had an excellent experience. Their team provided great service, communicated clearly, and made the entire process easy. They diagnosed the issue, ordered the replacement part, and handled everything efficiently. The after‑hours drop‑off with clearly marked parking made things incredibly convenient, and the pickup process was just as simple. The technicians were knowledgeable, professional, and thorough, and the quality of their work really shows. I definitely recommend Van Dorn Auto Repair for anyone looking for reliable service and a shop that truly takes care of its customers.

This may be the first post I've ever made on a review of any kind. If not, it's been years. Just had to comment about the integrity of this place. Recently unemployed, I am strapped for cash. I came here because of the reviews, to get some brake work (pads only) done and a couple other minor things that I needed in order to pass my state safety inspection that had failed. I received the written estimate for the repairs when I got the inspection done. I brought the form here so that they could give me their written estimate, and I could likely give them the work. I explained my condition of finances a little. Upon looking it over he said, in your situation, I would probably stay here (the other shop) and do the work there because it'll save you a little money. He even complimented the other shop saying they do good work, and I'd be okay. It wasn't significant. I mean, we're talking less than $300 for the original repair estimate. Who does that these days? Just the fact that he would even say that was impressive. So while I can't speak to any work being done, of course, I can easily speak to the character that I saw here. I can guarantee that if I wasn't so tight, I would be coming

I needed several maintenance items performed on my van to get it safe for the road and Doug from this shop, provided a good quote for the work being performed and they completed the repairs within a day. They were very friendly and thorough with the work. I’d definitely bring my vehicle back here in the future.

Top-tier service center. Leo, Marco, and Pops make an outstanding team and truly went above and beyond to ensure my Suburban was in great shape before a long road trip. I had a significant amount of work done—including the transfer case, suspension, torque converter, motor mounts, and brake booster—and everything is performing exactly as expected. Leo was especially great to work with, keeping me informed throughout the process and communicating key details every step of the way. Excellent team and shop. I’ll definitely be returning for future work and trust them completely.
